In response to the visit of The United States secretary John Kerry to Afghanistan,bomb blasts took place in the city nearby Kabul.The Nangarhar police chief says it is a suicide attack on the police head quarters.The attack on Nangarhar police headquarters is not a new event taking place in Afghanistan,as sequential bombing of important buildings and NATO facilities are taking place now and then.
Tuesday's bomb blasts gained moment and got an international concern due to the presence of The US secretary to the state John Kerry came to visit the president.The Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for this act of killing.
These incidences are happening too often and it is suspected that Haqqani family is involved in the strategic planning of bomb blasts.The attack on Tuesday initiated with a car blasts outside the police head quarters,followed by four terrorists dressed in NATO coalition force uniforms came running with bombs tied in their vests. They were shot down after a heavy fight which lasted for an hour.Five officers got killed in this fight.There is a security tightening around Kabul today.
